Greystone Mansion Design House 2005

Opened to the public, designers made interpretations in their rooms based on historic design themes. The Reading Alcove was created as a transition between the dynamic time of the 1920's modern age and yet keeping in touch with traditional elements of the past. The 1920's antique armoire is modern and yet has traditional elements.

Meant as a tranquil reading area, a monochromatic color palette was used.
